Public Employees Safety Council of AL (PESCA), established in 1999, is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving workplace safety. Membership is open to anyone with a desire to prevent work-related injuries and illnesses in the public sector workforce. 

PESCA’s mission is to provide a forum for safety, health and risk management practitioners to share information that will help prevent injuries, and accidents, and to protect assets and public service capabilities from the consequences of accidental and fortuitous loss so that employees and the public may enjoy safe and healthful surroundings in their daily pursuits.

Our Partners include:The Deep South Center for OH&S is an Education and Research Center sponsored by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). The Deep South Center is a consortium of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Auburn University and University of Alabama.

The conference will begin with a continental breakfast and an open exhibit hall. Vendors providing a variety of services, supplies and equipment will be available. The program begins at 8:15 am and concludes by 3:30 pm. Lunch is provided. The conference will be held at the Clanton Conference Center Alabama Power Company, 2030 7th Street South, Clanton, AL 35045, (205)280-4430. Now in its 10th year, this conference promises to build on past successes to offer attendees valuable and practical information. Sessions will provide you the opportunity to acquire new knowledge and skills. Ample time will be provided for networking with other supervisors, managers and safety professionals—folks that are performing the same tasks and working to overcome the same challenges you face each workday.

We are also looking for exhibitors who are willing to donate door prizes to be given out in drawings held throughout the day.
