The UAB School of Public Health is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) which is an independent agency recognized by the US Department of Education to accredit schools of public health. Every seven years CEPH requires re-accreditation. As part of that process each School of Public Health must complete a self-study.

The UAB School of Public Health accreditation site visit was conducted on April 14th-16th, 2008. In preparation for the visit, the school conducted a extensive self study and developed a document that addressed all criteria for accreditation. Click here to view the CEPH document.
