Community Health Resource Development Unit (CHRD)
The CHRD serves the Center as well as investigators across the university and community agencies and organizations throughout the state with expertise in community infrastructure development, best practice interventions, strategic planning, curriculum development, and community health advisor programs. Technical assistance provided by this unit includes program management, needs assessment, conducting focus groups, grant writing workshops, CHA training in core skills and health content, 501c3 application development, advocacy campaign training, and community engagement for research endeavors.
