Community Data Unit (CDU)
Established in 2006, the CDU was organized to house various data services and data sets most importantly the Birmingham Atlas of Health Outcomes, (BAHO).BAHO provides researchers and community agencies access to a rich and diverse database of spatial data describing the Birmingham MSA as well as the tools and guidance to create custom maps and extract the correct conclusions. Discover new patterns in your data and relationships with other variables that were not visible in spreadsheet. Other sets of data made available through this unit are related to the Community Health Scholars and their community based research projects.
