Introduction:
The Evaluation and Assessment Core exists to provide evaluation and assessment services both within (e.g., Prevention Research Center evaluation) and outside of the UAB Center for the Study of Community Health (e.g., Preparedness and Emergency Response Learning Center evaluation); across UAB’s Campus (e.g., Center for Clinical and Translational Science evaluation); and on projects with partnering organizations outside of the academic setting (e.g., JCDH and United Way - Communities Putting Prevention to Work evaluation).
Current PRC Evaluation Activities:
· Survey/ Evaluation Instrument Design
· Data Collection/Analysis/Reporting
· Tracking PRC Presentations, Publications, Products
· Monitoring Work Plan Progress for PRC Cores
· Development of Evaluation Plans for Center Activities/ Projects
· Technical Assistance for Community Health Scholars Grants
