Tulane University School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine invites applications for a tenure track faculty position in the Department of Global Environmental Health Sciences at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, with rank determined by experience and accomplishments. The successful candidate will join our ABET-accredited graduate program in industrial hygiene and participate in research and teaching in the areas of industrial hygiene, and occupational and environmental health. Applicants should demonstrate strong interest or experience in interdisciplinary environmental public health research and teaching in one or more of the following areas: general industrial hygiene, exposure assessment, occupational epidemiology, indoor air quality, emerging industrial hazards, inhalation toxicology. In addition to individual research and teaching, the successful candidate will have opportunities to collaborate with other faculty in the Department of Global Environmental Health Sciences, other departments in the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, and other schools and centers within Tulane University. Applicants must possess a terminal degree in industrial hygiene or relevant field and be board certified (ABIH) or eligible to attain certification within 3 years.
