Georgia W. Holmes received the Doctor of Audiology degree from Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2004. She holds a Certification of Clinical Competence in Audiology and is a Program Director for the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation. Dr. Holmes is currently an Audiologist and Clinical Supervisor at Auburn University at Montgomery Speech and Hearing Clinic. She was an Industrial Audiologist at a major utility for many years.
Dr. Holmes plays integral roles in several areas of audiometry. She works with the Junior League of Montgomery to provide auditory processing intervention programs for at-risk students. As principal negotiator and director of monies, she established a speech and hearing computer laboratory utilized in auditory processing intervention. She has also served as Academic Instructor for Audiology undergraduate courses including Introduction to Audiology, Hearing Pathology and Aural Rehabilitation.
Dr. Holmes is licensed by the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology and Audiology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She is also a member of the American Academy of Audiology, American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, Professional Audiology Society of Alabama, and National Hearing Conservation Association.
Georgia serves as a member of the Board of Trustees at Holy Cross School, a private Episcopal School in Montgomery. She is a liaison and sponsor for the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce Interface Program to facilitate the experience of Air War College officers at Maxwell Air Force Base.
