Dr. O on the Go
Our Center Director, R. Kent Oestenstad will present at the International Society for Respiratory Protection Biennial Meeting in Dublin, Ireland.  Dr. O.’s research paper is Exhalation Valve Leakage Measured by a Negative Pressure Fit Test Method and its Effect on the Measurement of Human Subjects Fit Factors.  Congrats to Dr. O. and his advisee, Stephanie Lynch.

 Rural Medical Scholars Program-Official Press Release 
The Deep South Center for OH&S has a new academic program through the University of Alabama. The Rural Medical Scholars Program with an Emphasis on Agricultural Safety and Health will integrate U of A’s strong existing agromedicine program with other Center core academic programs.
 

Deep South Center for OH&S is now a part of the new Region IV OSHA Training Institute 
Deep South Center for OH&S will now offer OSHA approved training workshops. These new OSHA approved workshops will be offered starting in Aug' 08, Sign up now!
