Carnahan Research Symposium of the Deep South Center for Occupational Health and Safety, the premier regional research conference in the field of occupational and environmental health and safety. The one-day annual event provides excellent opportunities for students to reach an interdisciplinary audience and interact with researchers from academia (engineering, nursing, public health, and medicine) and practitioners working in occupational and environmental health and safety.
The 2015 Symposium will be held Friday, April 10, 2015 at Auburn Marriott Opelika Hotel & Conference Center at Grand National. During the Symposium, recipients of the 2013 Pilot Project Research Grants will give presentations on their work and selected students from universities in the SE region will be invited to present research posters relevant to the occupational health and safety area.
