About the Lister Hill Center 

The Lister Hill Center for Health Policy is located in the School of Public Health. This endowed center, named for Alabama Senator Lister Hill, has a university-wide mission to facilitate the conduct of health policy research, to disseminate the findings of that research beyond the usual academic channels, and to sponsor the Lister Hill Health Policy Fellows program. The Center fosters research through the work of its Scholars whose primary research interests are:

  • Health and Health Care Regulation
  • Health Insurance
  • Maternal and Child Health Policy
  • Aging Policy
  • Management of Public Health Organizations
  • Outcomes Research
