This is a combined fellowships mentored research training program in health services and outcomes research, including a new focused fellowship in comparative effectiveness research. Beginning October 1, 2011, the program will be accepting applications for up to 2 postdoctoral positions with a start date of July 1, 2012. These are full-time mentored research training fellowships supported by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality.

Eligibility: Postdoctoral candidates must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent residency status and have a clinical doctoral degree (e.g., MD post residency, DMD/DDS, Nursing PhD, PhD in Clinical Psychology, PharmD, etc.) or have a research doctorate (e.g., PhD, SD, DrPH). A 2-year commitment is required. The academic component for postdoctoral trainees may require the MSPH in Health Policy and Outcomes Research, MSPH in Epidemiology (CER focus) or comparable coursework depending on the candidate's previous academic training and skills set.
