Please join the UAB School of Public Health and the Department of Environmental Health Sciences in congratulating Edward Postlethwait, Ph.D., on his appointment to serve on the National Advisory Environmental Health Science Council for a term beginning December 1, 2011 and ending November 30, 2015.

The Council will advise, assist, consult with, and make recommendations to the Secretary of Health and Human Services and the Director, National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS, as referred to as Institute) on matters related to the activities carried out by and through the Institute and the policies respecting these activities.
