Please join the Department of Biostatistics in congratulating Scott Keith who has just been awarded the prestigious 2008 UAB Samuel B. Barker Award for Excellence in Graduate Studies at the Doctoral Level.

"The Barker Award," named for UAB’s first graduate dean, Dr. Samuel Booth Barker, is given each spring to one Ph.D. student in the University.

The Barker award will be presented officially at the UAB Honors Convocation which will be held at the Alys Stephens Center on Friday May 2, 2008.
