UAB General Tuition and Fees

Below is a breakdown of tuition and general and special fees for the School of Public Health.  Students enrolled in approved joint or concurrent degree programs may incur slightly higher tuition costs.  Tuition and Fees are subject to change at the beginning of any term. These estimates do not include charges assessed when courses are taken at another school.

Tuition for In-State Students

    $189.00 per semester credit hour

Tuition for Out-of-State and International Students

    $473.00 per semester credit hour

General Fees

    Student Service Fee ($42.00 base fee per semester, plus $10.00 per semester credit hour)

    Student Building Fee ($34.00 per semester)

    Student Recreation Center Fee: 
       * Students enrolled for 12 hours or more, a general fee of:
        $72.00 for the Fall and Spring Term and $60.00 for the Summer Term.
       * Students enrolled for less than twelve hours, a general fee of:
        $48.00 for the Fall and Spring Term and $40.00 for the Summer Term.

    Learning Resource Fee ($13.00 per semester credit hour
