Dr. Weinberg received her BS & MA in Mathematics from Simmons College & Brandeis University, respectively, and her PhD in Biomathematics from the University of Washington, Seattle. In 1980, she joined the Department of Biostatistics at the University of Washington, Seattle as Acting Asst Professor & the Diabetes/Endocrinology Research Center as Acting Director. She took at position at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIH) in 1982 and in 1997 became Chief of the Biostatistics Branch at NIEHS. She holds Adjunct Professorships at the University of North Carolina’s Departments of Biostatistics and Epidemiology. She was elected as a fellow of the American Statistical Association in 1995.
