Sai Santosh received his master's degree in electrical and computer engineering from The University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2008. His field of specialization was scientific computing. He worked as a graduate research student from 2007-2008 with the Section on Statistical Genetics where his research was primarily on accuracy of small p-values used in Genomic research.
He is currently working as programmer analyst with the Section on Statistical Genetics since Oct.2008. His current projects involve applying statistical analysis to study gene nutrition interaction for cancer research as part of CNGI (http://www.uab.edu/cngi/index.htm) and data analysis for obesity mortality research.
