Kiya R. Hamilton received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Spelman College and a Masters of Statistics (concentration in biomedical statistics) from North Carolina State University. Presently, she is a PhD candidate in Biostatistics under the direction of Dr. Leslie McClure. Kiya’s work is currently funded by a NIH T32 Predoctoral Training Grant in the Section on Statistical Genetics under the guidance of Dr. Gary Cutter.

Kiya’s research interests include predictive probability and predictive power methods with multiple endpoints in clinical trials.

Kiya Hamilton is supported by the NHLBI grant 079888 titled "UAB Biostatistics Pre-doctoral Training Program".
