I received my B.A. in Mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis, and my M.A. and Ph.D. in Statistics from Harvard University. My Ph.D. research focused on the use of finite mixture models to assess thought disorder in first-degree relatives of schizophrenia patients.

I joined the Section on Statistical Genetics in December of 2008. My research interests include finite mixture models, latent variables and Bayesian methodology.
