Miguel received his Bachelors degree in Psychology from California State University, Dominguez Hills. He then earned his MA and PhD in Research and Evaluation Methodology with a minor in Statistics for the University of Florida. He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the SSG in the Biostatistics Department at UAB learning more about the statistical methodologies in genetics. Under the supervision of Drs. David Allison and Hemant Tiwari, Miguel is focusing on using multiple imputation in conjunction with admixture mapping, linkage, and linkage disequilibrium.
