Dr. Ghosh started his journey with statistics by taking undergraduate with honors in statistics. He completed his Masters in statistics in 1998 from the department of statistics of University of Calcutta. Before coming to USA he was an Asst. Professor of statistics at a College in Calcutta, India for one year. In the year 2000, he came to Oakland University, Michigan to pursue his PhD in statistics. He completed his thesis in April 2003. The title of his dissertation is "A Bayesian Approach to Bioequivalence Trials". He has strong research interests in areas like Bioequivalence trial, QTL mapping, Clinical trial, Longitudinal data.
He joins the Section on Statistical Genetics as a Visiting Scholar this summer from July 22, 2003 to July 25, 2003.
