Mahyar Sabripour received his B.S. in biochemistry from the University of Houston. He obtained his Ph.D. in biomathematics and biostatistics from the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. His areas of interest are bioinformatics and computational biology. He joined the SSG in May 2005. His areas of interest include microarray data analysis, image processing, and systems biology. He will be working on developing new mathematical and statistical methodologies for the analysis of proteomic and genomic data.
