Shiju Zhang received his B.S. in Applied Mathematics and M.S. in Applied Probability both from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, China. He joined UAB Biostatistics department for postdoctoral training in Statistical Genetics after he received his doctoral degree in Statistics from the University of Toledo. His current work at UAB includes quality control analyses of microarray data and the study of the effects of estrogenic and phytoestrogenic compounds on gene expression.
