Dongyan Yang received her Medical Degree from Tianjin Medical University in 1993. She then completed a 5-year residency and worked as a physician at the Department of Internal Medicine, Tianjin First Central Hospital. During 2000-2002, she studied at The University of Alabama at Birmingham and received a M.S. degree in Biostatistics. Currently, she is a Postdoctoral Fellow of the Section on Statistical Genetics studying multiple topics in the field of Statistical Genetics.
