Yongjun Liu received his M.D. from the Capital University of Medical Sciences in Beijing, China. He then earned his PhD in Human Genetics from the Creighton University. He is currently a post-doctoral fellow in the SSG in the Biostatistics Department at UAB learning more about the statistical methodologies in genetics. As a part of his post-doctoral fellowship he will collaborate actively on applied projects on cardiovascular genetic epidemiology with Dr. Donna Arnett, Professor and Chair of the Epidemiology Department.
