Dr. Eddy  Kwessi is a Visiting Associate Professor from Trinity University, in San Antonio (Texas) where he is currently an Associate Professor.

He holds master degrees in various fields of Mathematics from University of Yaounde I (Cameroon), Université de Savoie (France), International Center for Theoretical Physics (Italy). He obtained his Ph.D. in Mathematics and Statistics at Auburn University (Alabama) in 2011. His research interests include nonparametric statistics, Biostatistics, Biomathematics, Discrete Dynamical Systems, and Functional Analysis. He published numerous scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals and is a member of associations such as ASA, AMS, MAA, and SIAM. During his visit as UAB, Dr. Kwessi intends to pursue research in Dynamical Systems with applications in  Genetics and Neuroscience, with a special focus on diseases such as Alzheimer and Epilepsy.
