I joined Department of Biostatistics at UAB  in July  2016. Prior to join UAB I  completed  two years  post-doctoral  training in the  Department  of  Biostatistics and  Bioinformatics at Emory  University in Atlanta. I received   Ph.D.  degree  in  Statistics  from  the  University  of  South Carolina at Columbia and  Masters with double  major in Mathematics and  Statistics  from  Ball State University at Muncie, IN.  I received   my undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

My research interest includes survival analysis, agreement study, non- and semi-parametric Bayesian methods, recurrent events analysis, recurrent competing risks,  and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
